Hi all and happy Friday! And look at this…a Friday Favorites post on a Friday! How about that? I have a fun list for you this week that I can’t wait to share. Let’s do this!
Here Come the Irish: Even if you don’t love football or if you don’t like Notre Dame (this would be hard for me to understand though!), you will love this series. Peacock followed my favorite football team last season and produced the most incredible documentary. I watched the final episode last night and it had me in tears. If you’re looking for a show to binge, add this to your list!
The cutest sneakers: Adidas is killing me with all of the new colorways of their iconic sneakers that they’re putting out into the world, but I am here for it! I can’t confirm or deny that this pair and this pair might be added into my shoe rotation very soon. I recommend sizing down a half size. I usually wear a 9 and have been ordering an 8.5 and they’re just right. (My friend Mary Everard from @maryandcrew suggested this and she was totally right!)
Best hot drink: I had a meeting at Tala last week and ordered a matcha latte with skim milk and lavender and it was the best winter drink I’ve had all season. Thank you to my friend Shannon for turning me on to these…OMG!
Heart earrings: Need a little Valentine’s Day bling? I found these sweet heart earrings on Amazon. They are a great weight and perfect size–all for $12.
Cozy slippers: Speaking of Amazon finds–these slippers are perfect for wearing around the house on a cold day. And these are very cute for a Galentine.
Spring break in London: I’m trying to talk my travel companions (Ed and Jimmy) into spring breaking in London to see our Grace. I don’t really need an excuse to visit my sweet girl, but spring break is a pretty good reason (and she’s turning 25 in March!). On the chance you might be heading to this beautiful city this spring, here are a few stories (this one, this one, and this one) I wrote about my visits there last year (hotel recs, places to eat, and things to do). Also, J.Crew just came out with this new trench coat that would be perfect for your visit. It’s a longer version of their traditional trench and it has a hood. It’s also 25% off this weekend. Perfection!
Pretty notepads: I’m in my list-making era and bought some new notepads last week. Joy Creative Shop has just the cutest ones. These and these made my desk so happy.
Favorite lip gloss: You know when your daughter steals your lip gloss, you must have a good one! I started using this Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish and it’s awesome! I wear it over my lipstick for a little shine or on its own for a little sparkle. My go-to color is “Celeste.”
Last week’s Friday Favorites: Last week, I didn’t get my Friday Favorites posted until Sunday. In case you missed them because of my scheduling snafu, here they are again. I want to especially make sure that you hear about my new TikTok obsession, @cocopowell1. If you haven’t yet followed her, you are missing out! She just hit 10,000 followers and is becoming a TikTok sensation! She will make your weekend!
